Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley’s most pointed messages at Tuesday night’s debate stemmed from written words: those she wrote as a “21-year-old college kid,” and the “vile piece of garbage” recently published in Milwaukee’s major newspaper.
The justice, seeking her first 10-year term to the bench following her appointment last fall, repeated her apology for articles she wrote while a student at Marquette University that were critical of gay people. As she’s done in recent weeks, she said she’s grown as a person since her college days in the early ’90s.
