NBC CHICAGO

My Work at WMAQ | Photos Around WMAQ | Awards

While in the Second City, I enjoyed covering local politics and reported on a number of big stories of national interest including the city’s failed bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics, the 2012 NATO Summit, the Chicago Teachers Union strike and the Burr Oak Cemetery scandal.

I hosted video interviews with newsmakers and celebrities exclusively for our digital platforms and field-produced extensive online coverage of the Drew Peterson murder trial.

My reporting appeared on the front page of NBCNews.com and on affiliate sites around the country.

NBC Chicago’s digital coverage of the 2012 NATO Summit was honored with an Emmy award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactivity.
